As a MIG/MAG Welder, youll play a crucial role in fabricating and assembling platework components. The candidate should possess expertise in MIG/MAG welding, proficiency in grinding, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Responsibilities include performing MIG/MAG welding on thin platework to meet project specifications, ensuring welds conform to quality standards, conducting grinding and finishing processes to achieve smooth and polished surfaces on welded components, maintaining the highest standards of surface preparation and finishing for completed products, assisting in the assembly of fabricated components, ensuring accurate alignment and proper fit, collaborating with team members to achieve seamless integration of welded parts into final assemblies, interpreting and following technical drawings to understand project requirements, translating engineering specifications into precise welding and assembly tasks, adhering to safety protocols and procedures during welding, grinding, and assembly activities, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications include proven experience as a MIG/MAG Welder, proficiency in grinding and finishing techniques, ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately, strong attention to detail, commitment to producing flawless welds and assemblies, familiarity with various welding materials and techniques, excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive approach to challenges, strong communication skills in English (B1 level), possession of a driver’s license, ability to provide photos of previous completed work, and possession of relevant certificates.
The wage ranges between €600 and €700net per week based on experience, with accommodation already deducted from this salary ranging between €100-€130. The accommodation type will be a single room or studio, and work will be around Waardepolder/Vijfhuizen, with normal day shifts. If shifts differ, employees will be notified in advance. Additionally, the employer will provide a welding helmet with air supply to ensure a safe and comfortable working environment. A car is preferred, and the driver will receive €0.23 per kilometer driven to and from work.
