As a MIG/MAG welder, you play a crucial role in fabricating and assembling sheet metal components. The candidate must possess expertise in MIG/MAG welding, skill in grinding, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings comprehensively. Responsibilities include performing MIG/MAG welding on thin sheet metal to meet project specifications, ensuring welds meet quality standards, conducting grinding and finishing processes to obtain smooth and polished surfaces on welded components, achieving the highest standards of surface preparation and finishing for finished products, assisting in the assembly of fabricated components, ensuring accurate alignment and good fit, collaborating with team members to achieve seamless integration of welded parts in final assemblies, completing technical drawings and following them to understand project requirements, translating technical specifications into accurate welding and assembly tasks, complying with safety protocols and procedures during welding, grinding, and assembly activities, and adhering to industrial regulations and standards. Qualifications include experience as a MIG/MAG welder, skill in grinding and finishing techniques, the ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately and completely, strong attention to detail, transmission to the manufacturer of impeccable welds and familiarity with various welding materials and techniques, problem-solving ability, a proactive approach to challenges, strong communication skills in English (B1 level), possession of a drivers license, ability to provide photos of previously completed work, and possession of excellent certificates. The salary ranges between €600 and €700 net per week, based on experience, with accommodation costs already deducted from this salary, ranging between €100 and €130. The type of accommodation will be a single room or studio, and the work will take place around Waardepolder/Vijfhuizen, with normal day shifts. In case of different shifts, employees will be notified in advance. Additionally, the employer provides a welding helmet with air supply to protect a safe and comfortable workspace. Preference is given to a car, and the driver will receive €0.23 per kilometer driven to and from work.
